Virat kohli, as we all know was off to a rough start to 2022 with scores of 35 and 18 against South Africa in the firat test at supersport park at Centurion. Both didmissals were similar as they were both at the fourth stump, Kohli's biggest foe.
In the second test, Virat Kohli didn't even play as he was ruled out because of a back injury. In the third test and the final test at the seies ties 1-1, Virat Kohli made a strong comeback and managed to be the stabilizer of the Indida innings, by scoring 79 runs out of 223 runs that India scored. It was an innings of sheer patience and quality, as he left most of the deliveries at the corridor, or the fourth stump, but the ironic thing here is that he would eventually get out foe the same ball outside the off-stump from Kagiso Rabada.

What makes the squad ready for next years's IPL, and are we ready? Find out!
After the SA series, the next major event was the IPL , he definitely was off to a bad start. the first match didn't go that badly as he scored a good 41 of 29 against the Punjab kings. But however he had one of his worst IPLs ever as he scored three consecutive ducks which saw him open the innings from the next match, but again it didn't work out at the beggining, but he found some form at the late stages of the tournament. Till now, not so good.

However, the second half of 2022 was completely different. He went on to have a good series vs Australia at home, and a record-breaking T20 WC 2022 as he scored 296 runs from 6 matches, with 3 matches of them ending as not-out. Okay, now it's pretty obvious he is back in form- yes, he scored another century against Bangladesh, not to mention a century against Afghanistan before the T20 WC that ended his century drought. He still couldn't make a comeback in tests as he has only managed to score 45 runs in the entire series! Hope he makes a strong comeback in tests next year in the Border-Gavaskar trophy in January.
So, that was it for today's post and hope you enjoyed it!
