So, we are now in the quarter-finals of the FIFA WC and the tournament has been very interesting so far. Today, we will take a look at what I think is going to happen in the quarter-finals.
Match #1- Netherlands vs Argentina
I expect this match to be a banger because of the form both sides have been in, and this is also the 2014 WC semi-finals repeat, where Argentina won. But personally, I think Argentina is going to win because of their balance in the team and their sheer quality. As Virgil Van Dijk said, " Argentina is not just about Messi". This has been the case in Portugal too with players like Goncalo Ramos emerging.

Match #2- Croatia vs Brazil
Now we all know who is winning and so do I, Brazil. I don't think Croatia have a squad good enough to beat Brazil. Brazil, on the other hand, has been in fantastic form throughout the tournament. I don't see any problems for Brazil whatsoever and Croatia will have to be at their absolute best to give a good challenge to Brazil.

Match #3- France vs England
This has to be the best match of the round of 16, or in the entire WC for that matter.
France and England, two of the best teams in the world, are going to battle it to see who gets to the semis. There will be a lot of expectations from both the teams but in my opinion, England will win. They have not lost a single match this FIFA WC has played well, especially with the possession. So, England is the favourite!!

Match #4- Morocco vs Portugal
This is gonna be another cracker with Morocco and Portugal looking to seal a semis spot. Portugal has played really well throughout the tournament and Goncalo Ramos, the latest player who had his price tag skyrocket in the space of 1.5 hours, could be the game-changer. Morocco, OMG. What a run they have had this year!. Bono, the goalkeeper who only coceded once the entire tournament, could be the game-changer here. But there could only be one winner and I thinks that is Portugal. They have quality, they have played beautiful and overall I really like their stylr of football. So, Portugal it is!
